Lisa Gwen Fibonacci Sequence Bowl (Small) - Phi Series

CA$80.00

These handbuilt one-of-a kind functional art pieces explore the hidden structure of our existence through the beauty and harmony of PHI. PHI is a Greek symbol that represents an irrational number which is based on the Fibonacci sequence. When plotted, this number sequence closely approximates to the Golden Ratio and Golden Spiral.

Each piece is decorated with custom designed and handmade stencils, silkscreen prints, and stamps. Every piece is made with small batch hand coloured clay and formed using a soft slab handbuilt technique.

Lisa Gwen is a Toronto based ceramic artist and graduate from Sheridan's Craft and Design program. She has a background in graphic design and a history of varied interests including photography, glass, iron and fiber art. She can be found enrolled in workshops, enthralled in research and podcasts, or playing in her studio.
