Cymantic patterns are created when simple sine wave vibrations (pure tones) within the audible range interact with matter. The result is a physical representation of a vibration, or how sound manifests into form through a medium.

As like in nature all these ceramic pieces are one of a kind. Each piece is decorated with custom designed and handmade stencils, silkscreens, and stamps. Every piece is made with small batch hand coloured clay and formed using a soft slab handbuilt technique.

Lisa Gwen is a Toronto based ceramic artist and graduate from Sheridan's Craft and Design program. She has a background in graphic design and a history of varied interests including photography, glass, iron and fiber art. She can be found enrolled in workshops, enthralled in research and podcasts, or playing in her studio.
